This adapter is 2 inches long and clears the factory air tube allowing you to put a Great Kami or Emperor with M18x1 threads. 

This adapter is perfect for the regulated (not FAC) HP Max in .45 cal, as it allows the instalation of a suppressor, something that is not possible without it as the air tube sticks out in front of the barrel.
